William Benjamin Lewis was killed in action on the 31st July 1917,                          serving in the 12th battalion Royal Fusiliers.                        This was the first day of the Battle of Passchendaele

This is Dennis Arthur Frederick Lowe, 16th Queens Westminster Rifles.  Dennis went to France, 23 June 1916, before a move to Macedonian on 30th November 1916. Followed by a move to Egypt 29th June 1917 , wounded 31st October 1917. With a move to France and again wounded 1st May 1918.

Mentioned in Dispatches, London Gazette 8th July 1919

53734. Warrant Officer 2nd class. Machine Gun Corp.

Archibald's copy service records show he enlisted on 10th December 1914, aged 26 years old into the Devon Regiment. Promoted Acting Sargent January 1916 and transferred to the MGC, August 1916. Archibald did not serve overseas until March 1918 then posted to 58th battalion MGC. of the 58th (2/1st London) Division

Medals stamped to 

2438 Pte. H. R. Overy . Surrey Yeomanry

Harold enlisted 23rd November 1914 into the Surrey Yeomanry. Appointed a Trumpeter July 1915and went to France September 1916. Transferred to 12th Battalion East Surrey Regiment, 41st Infantry Division and Dangerously wounded 10th April 1917. Discharged from the army July 1917.
