TOM RAMSBOTTOM
Born April 1906 in Accrington, Lancashire. In 1939 Tom was a Foreman at a Compositor Printer company. Enlisted in May 1941 and posted to the Military Police, serving for 3 years in the Middle East.

THOMAS ALFRED EVANS
Born March 1908 and lived in Edmonton London in 1939 and was a member of the Air Raid Precaution, Rescue and Demolition unit until conscripted into the army in May 1943. He received the Defense Medal for services with the A.R.P. Thomas went over to France in June 1944 with the Pioneer Corp.

GEORGE HENRY FOULDS
George died in Britain's worst ever maritime disaster, he was on the troopship Lancastria when it was bombed and sunk by German aircraft during the evacuation of troops from St Nazaire in June 1940. It is estimated that between 4000 to 7000 people died, this sinking was the highest death toll for British forces in a single action for the whole of the Second World War.
The medals were posted to Georges daughter, Monica Wiltshire and come with copy papers for birth, marriages, death along with census papers relating to George and Monica.

ALFRED FREDERICK CRABB
Staff Sergeant Royal Electrical & Machinal Engineers
Alfred enlisted in December 1937 into the Territorial Royal Engineers, he was promoted Staff Sergeant in November 1938. transferred to the R.A.O.C. in January 1942 and went overseas to Egypt in July 1942. transferred to R.E.M.E. 1st October 1942
